Description: The debut project from Crate Entertainment, the studio behind Titan Quest, was a long-shot. Grim Dawn was announced back in 2010, and in early 2012, the developers successfully raised funds for development on Kickstarter. Essentially, the new game is Titan Quest in a darker setting. The developers used the same engine, albeit updated, and the leveling mechanics are also eerily familiar. Only the combat mechanics have been slightly tweaked—if you leave combat, your health regenerates very quickly. Stylistically, Grim Dawn is reminiscent of the first Diablo and, to a greater extent, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing (the world also features steampunk influences).
