Description : Terminator: Resistance is a first-person shooter set during the Future War, which was briefly mentioned in the Terminator films and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The game takes place in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, approximately 30 years after Judgment Day, and features a new character, Jacob Rivers, a Resistance soldier led by John Connor. Despite his seemingly insignificant nature, he soon discovers he is targeted by Skynet and must be eliminated. In Terminator: Resistance, you will relive the events leading up to the decisive final battle for the fate of humanity in the war against the machines. The story follows canon, not only from the first two films but also from the novels by William Wisher, the screenwriter of those films and a friend of James Cameron. John Connor, the cybernetization camps, the creation of the time machine, and the assault on the SkyNet facility are all present. Plus, there are a ton of movie references—including not only similar music, information from numerous notes, iconic Terminator and plasma weapon types, but even the chance to spot Robert Patrick, who played the main "liquid metal" villain in "Judgment Day," in one of the locations.
