Description : In the game The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, the dwarves set off on a new journey to reclaim their legendary homeland of Moria in the Misty Mountains. To survive, players will need to join forces, forge equipment, build, and explore the notorious bottomless mines. Mysterious threats await brave adventurers, and they will need all their courage. Summoned to the Misty Mountains by Lord Gimli, Keeper of the Lock, the player controls a band of dwarves. Their task is to find the lost ruins of the dwarven homeland of Moria, also known as Khazad-dÃ»m or Dwarrowdelf, deep beneath their feet. Descending into the mines of Moria and uncovering its treasures will require incredible fortitude. Each adventure is unique and takes place in the procedurally generated dwarven kingdom of Moria. The expedition can be undertaken alone or with trusted friends in online mode. Players can mine the mountains' ores to forge gear and craft resources, but mining produces a great deal of noise, and any unnecessary sound in the silent depths can awaken dormant threats: where there's a rumble, there's a fight. Unearth the secrets of three legendary mountains, mine valuable metals, scrape by to survive, and battle unimaginable hordes to uncover the secret of the Shadow lurking in the darkness.

Survive the Darkness: To survive the treacherous mines of Moria, players will need to hoard resources, hunt and gather food, sleep regularly, and manage noise and temperature. Use dynamic lighting systems to protect yourself and navigate the darkness. Battle unimaginable evil, repel monstrous orcish hordes, and uncover the mystery of the Shadow lurking within the mountain.

Base Establishment: Escape the darkness. Explore the surrounding area and clear new locations to create massive architectural masterpieces. You can give in to your creative impulse and build bases from scratch or build on existing structures. Beware of the evil that lurks around, trying to hinder the dwarves' progress.

Rebuilding and Transforming Moria: Restore the long-lost ancient kingdom of Khazad-dum to its former glory and restore dwarven monuments as history unfolds. Bring ancient mines to life, rekindle the fires of forges, and claim their pristine treasures for yourself.

Exploration: Descend into the very depths of the Morian mines. Procedurally generated tunnels are rich in resources and conceal numerous mysteries and dangers, making each playthrough a new experience.

Co-op Multiplayer: Adventure alone or with friends in online co-op multiplayer for up to eight players.

Craft Dwarven tools, weapons, and more: Forge or discover legendary Dwarven armor, tools, weapons, and buildings. Rebuild ancient forges to enhance, repair, or enchant gear. Develop and unlock new technologies and fantastical machines.

Search for ancient artifacts! Swords that glow brightly as orcs approach, maps of long-forgotten mithril veins, books with forgotten blueprints, and amulets granting strength or wisdom await you.

Mine ores and gems: manage mines to gain access to vast deposits of valuable resources like iron, gold, and quartz, as well as fantastical materials like mithril. Gain access to crafting benches and forges to smelt ore into ingots and upgrade your gear. But be prepared for the roar of pickaxes and forge hammers to awaken creatures slumbering in the darkness.

A versatile dwarf builder: as players create their own dwarf using the character generator, they become part of the dwarven legend.
