Description : You barely managed to escape from an exploding spaceship. Now, in an old escape capsule, you hurtle through space at the mercy of the cosmos. Without knowledge of the capsule's complex systems, your life depends on technical guidance and your own wits. How long can you survive? Transmitting on all frequencies. Beware, space travelers! Survival aboard the Tin Can is not so easy. Without a careful inspection of the systems around you, onboard guidance, and patience, only a cold (or hot) space death awaits you. "In space, maintenance can't hear you scream!" Get your hands dirty! "What a mess! The oxygen generator refuses to start... I hope it's just a fuse that knocked out the power and not some problem with the nuclear battery!" All the systems inside your escape pod are made up of many different components, from fuses to air filters. They are all interconnected and perform their critical function. Listen to your body! "My vision has been blurry for a while, and it's getting worse! I really need to find that leak before I pass out!" With all your systems failing, in the darkness, only the sound of your heartbeat and shallow breathing will warn you of impending death. O², CO², atmospheric pressure, and temperature are realistically modeled for maximum immersion. Your life hangs in the balance... don't lose focus! "Those weird error codes again?! The manual inside your capsule is filled with detailed information that could very well save your life. Plan ahead! "What a view! Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here?" These space monsters, from asteroid fields to nebulae, will wreak havoc on your systems and leave you no time to catch your breath...
Game Features :
  • Manage pod systems down to each individual component.
  • Numerous systems, each with its own unique function, serve to ensure your survival. Every system is interconnected, from the oxygen generator to the emergency lighting.
  • Over a dozen different components, each with its own specific function and causing various problems when damaged. For example, faulty buttons don't respond properly when pressed, and faulty electrical connectors don't provide sufficient power.
  • Organic glitches due to the simulated nature of resources and components within the game. You'll have to figure out what's wrong and return to the source.
  • Remove, replace and repair anything inside the capsule.
  • Realistic management of vital resources such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, temperature, and radiation. There are no arbitrary numbers here. The levels of these resources, essential for survival, are based on real life!
  • An on-board manual with detailed information about your escape pod.
  • Actual medical symptoms instead of health bars. For example, hypoxia (lack of oxygen) will cause you to breathe faster and harder, blur your vision, and slow your movements until you lose consciousness.
  • Cosmic events will strike your capsule and impact its systems in various ways. From flying close to the surface of a star, which will cause overheating, to asteroid fields that will puncture your hull, you must anticipate and manage situations as they arise to avoid certain death.
