Description: UNDERWARD can be played solo, but be preparedâsingle-player mode is an ultra-difficult challenge, where falling into enemy hands means instant game over. The game is full of "beginner traps," and you'll learn from your deaths as you progress. Without the ability to perform "linked transport," you'll have to carefully carry cargo, constantly fearing a surprise attack from enemies, creating an extremely tense atmosphere. You'll need to avoid detection, beware of traps, and move with extreme caution. While single-player differs significantly from multiplayer, this mode is ideal for those seeking a truly frightening and immersive horror experience. Mission: As an explorer, explore UNDERWARD and transport "TEST-SUBJECT" monsters to the elevator. Step 1: Search for "Test Subjects." After exiting the elevator, search the floor for "TEST-SUBJECTS." Be carefulânumerous traps and hazards lurk everywhere. Some areas and mechanisms require cooperative action to advance. It's best to avoid solo activities whenever possible. Useful tools can be found throughout the floor. It's recommended to thoroughly search shelves, lockers, and other potential hiding places. With luck, you might even stumble upon high-tech equipment. Step 2: If They See You, Run or... - While exploring, you may encounter unknown enemies. They typically react to the noise you make, so be careful. If you hide quietly, they may pass by without noticing you. Adapt to each situation as needed. If you are spotted, run as fast as you can. Trying to fight back by dropping items you're carrying can be effective. Even if you're downed, there's still a chance for rescue. The location of fallen comrades is displayed on the screen. Quick and calm actions to minimize losses are crucial to strengthening team bonds. However, remember that the time available for rescue is gradually decreasing. Step 3: Carry, carry, carry! - Once you've found the "TEST-SUBJECT," carry it to the elevator at full speed. Carrying it generates significant noise, potentially attracting enemies, so remain vigilant. While the cultivation capsules may be too heavy for one person, the "Connected-Carry" system allows you to move faster than the enemies pursuing you... but if you're out of sync, it's a one-way ticket. The value of each "TEST-SUBJECT" varies. We hope that researchers will carry as many valuable "TEST-SUBJECTS" as possible. Then... Proceed deeper into "FEAT." - Once the collection quota is met, the "TEST-SUBJECT" will be verified. We operate the elevator to the next level, so researchers should close the elevator and wait inside. We are proud of the researchers who choose to explore the deeper, more dangerous floors. ...Please note that we do not guarantee survival on this mission.
