Rome: Total War Collection * if you don’t already own it. Rome Remastered is a classic game with a modern graphical design, optimized** for 4K and ultra-wide screens, and native UHD** support. Graphics enhancements have been applied to a wide range of gameplay elements, including updated building and object models, as well as updated climate and weather effects (such as dust clouds and haze). Updated campaign maps feature high-resolution models, and the battlefield features new unit textures with updated models. Rome Remastered includes many modern features and improvements to gameplay mechanics. The camera has been improved, map rotation has been added, and a larger zoom scale has been added in campaign mode. Heat maps and new layer icons (such as diplomacy and security) have been added to the gameplay mechanics. The tactical map now displays unit status and range icons, significantly facilitating troop management on the battlefield. Players have access to large armies and 16 additional factions, which were previously locked. This brings the total number of factions available in the game to 38. For the first time in the Total War series, players can lead their faction into war online across Windows, macOS, and Linux. A new type of agent, merchants, has been added to the game. They can travel the globe and establish trade links, gain access to resources, lure rivals, and strengthen the economic power of your nation.
